Katie Piper, a television personality, has made the decision to obtain a prosthetic eye, sixteen years after she survived a life-altering acid assault that left her mostly blind.
The news was revealed by Katie on her various social media platforms on Friday, January 10th. The patient uploaded a close-up photograph of her eye that had been injured, as well as a brief video that showed a physician meticulously fitting the prosthetic eye. Piper said that she intends to keep a record of her “journey” and stated that she is experiencing feelings that are both “hopeful and nervous” around the shift.

Some of these surgeries have improved the appearance of my eye and made it feel more comfortable. In any case, I simply want to encourage you to maintain your resilience and optimism during this stage of your trip.
