The twin rappers recently opened up about the staggering amount of money they earned by posting a controversial video on OnlyFans that featured the two of them kissing.

Alex ‘Flyysoulja’ and Franky ‘Kodiyakredd’ Venegas, better known as the Island Boys, first became internet sensations in 2021 thanks to their unique appearance — from their eye-catching dreadlocks and full-body tattoos to their diamond-encrusted teeth. They quickly captured attention, especially after releasing their viral track, ‘I’m an Island Boy.’

Following the unexpected success of their short viral clip, the duo decided to go all-in and created a full version of the song along with a music video in the following year. Their bizarre image and growing fame continued to fuel countless memes and online jokes, keeping them in the public eye.

That same year, a documentary titled Trolled: The Untold Island Boys Story was released. It explored both the professional journey and the chaotic personal lives of the twins, who have had more than a few run-ins with the law.

But nothing could have prepared fans — or critics — for what the Venegas brothers did next, shocking many in the process.

They announced their debut on the adult content platform OnlyFans by sharing a video where the two brothers kissed each other on camera.

As expected, the video quickly drew intense criticism and backlash from viewers. Despite the controversy, Kodiyakredd later claimed that the move earned them a substantial financial reward.

Speaking during an appearance on The Wild Podcast in February, he said: “I was in a very vulnerable state. I didn’t want to do the kissing thing. I took three days to sleep on it. I didn’t want to admit that I only had $60,000 to my name.”

He admitted he was unsure about it at first, but the brothers eventually agreed to go through with it, fully aware that the clip would spread like wildfire online.

“Is it that much of a big deal?” Kodiyakredd added. “I know what I am, I’m straight.”

“It did go viral. I started making $600k, $700k a month.”

In 2023, they tried to explain their decision during an episode of the Adam22 podcast, where they shared their personal view on the matter: “We’re twin brothers, we came out of the womb together, we grew up together. It’s not really disgusting if it’s twins.”

Kodiyakredd said he admitted he had some regret for the videoThe Wild Podcast/YouTube

“We kind of just made out or whatever, we kissed and then we just like look the other way for a few minutes and couldn’t like, look at each other, but it wasn’t that big of a deal – just a kiss.”

Later on, Kodiyakredd disclosed that he earned around $6 million from the controversial stunt, while his brother Franky reportedly made even more — about $8 million.

This surprising revelation came during an MMA event in Miami, where Kodiyakredd participated in a fight but ended up losing to popular streamer Oblivion.

During the event, Oblivion brought up the kiss between the brothers right before the fight started. Kodiyakredd responded with a heated retort: “For millions of dollars, bro. The f**k? You think I’ma do that for free?”

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old has found himself facing even more legal troubles, as he was recently arrested in Naples, Florida, on charges related to drugs and weapons.

According to reports, he was booked at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office in February. He now faces charges for having a controlled substance without a valid prescription and for possessing an altered firearm.

The social media personality also got into trouble last May when he was allegedly caught speeding through a Fort Lauderdale parking lot in a bright yellow Corvette Stingray. Authorities say he even attempted to impersonate his twin brother to avoid being charged with reckless driving.

The year before that incident, he faced arrest for domestic battery after he was accused of hitting his girlfriend and pushing her into a pool at an Airbnb in Pompano Beach. Back in 2022, his ex-girlfriend also accused him of abuse, but in that case, no legal charges were filed.

That same year, the twins’ home was raided by a SWAT team after their childhood friend, Andrew James Thomas, became the focus of a major police search. He was wanted on charges of first-degree murder involving a drive-by shooting and firearms.

Thomas later accepted a plea deal and was sentenced to nearly 50 years behind bars.
