I’ve always dreamed of taking a bath outdoors, but the idea seemed like something out of the realm of impossible fantasies. I mean, really, where am I, and where are those movie scenes with floating water, a glass of wine, and a mountain view?

But it turns out, if you have a handy husband, dreams can become a reality.

One evening, we were sitting on the porch, and once again, I said:

— How amazing would it be to relax in a hot bath right under the open sky…
My husband didn’t answer, just smiled mysteriously. A few days later, an old bathtub, which we had once planned to throw away, appeared in the yard. Piles of stones, some pipes, and even an old metal grate were stacked nearby.

— What are you up to? — I asked curiously.

— Wait and see, — he replied, and with the look of a creator, began to work.

A week later, my dream stood in the yard — a bathtub heated by a campfire! Underneath, my husband laid a stone hearth, made a reliable base, and designed a system to heat the water.

Now, even on chilly spring evenings, I could relax in hot water, enjoying the fresh air and the crackling of the firewood.

It turned out that this creation wasn’t just a place for relaxation, but also a great helper around the house. In the spring, when the water for irrigation is still icy, we can simply heat it in the bathtub and use it for the garden beds.

Now, this is my favorite spot in the yard, especially in the evening.

Have you ever seen something like this before?
