BGT winners Sydnie Christmas and Loren Allred wowed the Aldwych Theatre with their amazing performance of the timeless classic “Over the Rainbow,” showcasing their powerful vocals and unquestionable stage presence. At Sydnie’s most recent performance, their unexpected duet almost rocked the venue, leaving the audience speechless.

The two singers’ seamless vocal blending throughout the concert produced a mystical moment that was both nostalgic and novel. One of the most well-known songs in history, “Over the Rainbow,” was first sung by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz (1939). Yip Harburg wrote the words for the Harold Arlen-composed ballad, which went on to win an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Since then, it has been recorded by innumerable musicians of all ages.

Although many people agree that Garland’s rendition is the best, every fresh interpretation of the classic offers something different. Christmas and Allred have now joined the ranks of musicians who have done this iconic song justice with their magnificent duet.
