John Travolta, who once famously danced with Princess Diana at a White House dinner, has shared a deeply personal and heartfelt moment with his followers. The movie star honored the memory of his late son, Jett, who would have turned 33 this year.

The 71-year-old actor — known for dozens of iconic roles and followed by 15.2 million fans on social media — posted a rare, archival photo of himself with Jett on Instagram. The caption struck an emotional chord:

“Happy birthday, Jett. I miss you so much! Love you forever.”

And those are more than just words. Last year, Travolta revealed that not a single day goes by without thinking of his son. For him, Jett remains ever-present — in memory and in heart.

Jett was the eldest child of John and his late wife, Kelly Preston. In 2009, while the family was vacationing in the Bahamas, Jett tragically passed away at just 16 years old. He had been diagnosed with autism, asthma, and Kawasaki syndrome. According to witnesses, he suffered a seizure and hit his head in a hotel bathroom.

Travolta later described the tragedy as the “worst pain” he had ever experienced. And while time may heal, such losses leave a lasting ache.
