Todd and Julie Chrisley Reunite for First Time in 2 Years After Their Release from Prison

Todd and Julie Chrisley are together again.

The couple, who have been married since 1996, came face-to-face for the first time in two years on Thursday, May 29, a day after being released from separate federal prisons. Their daughter Savannah Chrisley took to her Instagram Stories to share the moment, capturing a discreet picture of Todd and Julie’s legs as they sat facing each other.

“Reunited and it feels so good!” read an icon she put over the photo.

The reunion comes just two days after President Donald Trump announced that he was issuing the Chrisley Knows Best stars a full pardon for their 2022 conviction of tax and bank fraud.

“It’s a terrible thing, but it’s a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean,” a video showed Trump telling the Chrisley children during a phone call on May 27. “I hope we can do it by tomorrow. … I don’t know them, but give them my regards and wish them a good luck.”

He also noted that Todd and Julie were “given a pretty harsh treatment, based on what I’m hearing.”

The next day, the pardon was officially signed and the pair were released.

“I am just so grateful that I am gonna leave here with my dad,” Savannah, 27, said as she waited outside the Florida facility where her dad was being held, noting that she had been waiting since “2 a.m. last night.”

The video, obtained by TMZ, showed the reality star in an all pink outfit, which included a “Make America Great Again” top and matching trucker hat with Trump’s name on both.

That same day, her 19-year-old brother, Grayson Chrisley, traveled to Kentucky to pick up their mother.

Todd and Julie were indicted in August 2019 and found guilty in 2022, when they were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison (although it was reduced in September 2023). They have been appealing their case ever since.

While Todd’s appeal was upheld, Julie’s was initially granted due to insufficient evidence. However, a judge later ruled that her original punishment was sufficient.

When asked how her parents reacted to the news, Savannah revealed: “They didn’t believe it. It just came out of nowhere.”

“Over the past 24 hours, I’ve gotten so much love and so much hate, and I’ve had people say, ‘Hmm, I wonder what she had to do to get this pardon,’” she later added. “I didn’t have to do anything other than stand firm in my beliefs and my convictions and fight for my parents and fight for what was right.”

Hours later, Savannah posted the first glimpse of her dad on his way home with a short clip of his bicep.

“What are you trying to get me to do?” she asked Todd as she kept his face out of shot.

“Feel that muscle,” he replied as he held out his arm and she touched it, exclaiming, “Oh yeah, feel the muscle! I’m not gonna lie, it’s hard.”

“Todd is jacked,” Todd added.
