Yesterday around noon, I noticed something very strange moving in the grass in my yard. 😱 At first, I thought it was a rope. Then another thought hit me: “What if it’s a snake?” 😲
I decided to go closer to get a better look at this weird creature. 😲
But when I finally got close enough and looked carefully… I was struck with real terror! 😣

In my yard, I noticed something truly unusual. At first glance, it looked like a long, winding rope lying in the grass – as if someone had dropped it there on purpose. But the very next second, I thought: “What if it’s a snake?!”

My heart started racing. I quickly grabbed my phone, took a photo, and, full of adrenaline, decided to approach. Every step felt tense – the idea that it could be something dangerous was really frightening.

But when I finally got close and took a proper look, I was filled with absolute horror…

It wasn’t a rope. And it wasn’t a snake either.

In front of me crawled a slow-moving column of – as I later counted – about 150 caterpillars! They were moving in a straight line, tightly packed together, as if following an invisible leader.

I had no idea this was even possible – let alone in my own backyard!

Where were they going? Why so many? These questions still won’t leave my mind.

Some believe that when caterpillars move in a group, it can scare off predators. Or maybe they find food more easily that way.

Or maybe it’s a way to save energy – the ones at the front clear the path, so the ones in the back don’t need to work as hard.

Do you have any idea where they came from or where they were heading?
