Since the time we were young, we were told to get exercise on a daily basis. This is not only true with our muscles, it’s important to exercise our minds as well.
One way to exercise your mind and keep yourself mentally sharp is by using optical illusions. Some people consider them a hobby but when you use them properly, they can benefit you in numerous ways.
When you look at the picture above, what is the first thing that you see? This picture is not only an interesting optical illusion, it is even a psychological exercise according to the creator.
Depending upon what you see first, it can really say a lot about you and your personality. Underneath, it has to do with how you process the information that you see.
Much of the world that we experience comes in through our sense of sight. It travels through our eyes and into the brain, helping us to shape the world around us in amazing ways.
As far as this image is concerned, however, there are likely two different things that you see. Did you see a tree or a lion?
If you first see the tree, people may look at you as being a cold or reserved individual when they first meet you. In reality, however, you are ‘super fun and friendly’.
Not everything we see is as it appears, so people really need to get to know you and become emotionally invested in order to truly understand what is behind the scenes. If you saw the tree first, you are a loyal person who will fight for your friends until your dying breath.
On the other hand, if you saw the lion first, then you might be more of an extroverted and approachable individual. When you fall into this category, you likely have an outgoing personality and a social nature. That it is what people really appreciate about you.
You don’t like confrontation and you will avoid it, seeking peace over top of everything else. That being said, you are also a more reliable and strong individual and you maintain healthy relationships in your life.
Those who see the lion first tend to look for goals in the future and you have that ability to see ahead in such a way.
Who knew that there could be so much behind such an interesting image?
