Kelly Beasley from Arizona knew exactly what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to go all-in to get it. She’s into RV life and always cared a lot about how she looks. So when she started feeling like her face was aging faster than she wanted, she made a bold decision.
She’d been using fillers and Botox since her late 20s but by the time she turned 48, she said her face was “dropping fast” and it was time to do more.
She started looking into getting facial surgery which included a facelift, neck lift, lip lift, and a fat transfer from her thighs. The only problem was the price.
Doctors in the U.S. were charging between $50,000 and $60,000 and she just couldn’t afford that. But she didn’t give up. She kept searching and found a woman on TikTok talking about a clinic in Mexico where the same procedures cost about $14,000.
She did more digging, checked out a Facebook group for the clinic, and read through other women’s experiences. It all sounded promising. Beasley booked the surgery in Tijuana and made plans.
Right before the trip, she sold her three-bedroom home in Arizona. She said: “I sold my house as a cushion to pay for it. The results are beyond what I expected. I didn’t expect to look younger. People say I look in my 30s. I’m loving my look and looking the most fabulous that I can.”
The surgery was done on February 14, 2023. It lasted four hours. Beasley said there was “zero pain” but she had to wear a “face bra” for two weeks.
She shared that she woke up from the surgery with her head wrapped in “a giant crazy bandage” and the healing process was all documented by the doctor on social media. She eventually went back to living full-time in her camper, with her last known stop being Lake Tahoe.
Beasley said she wanted to challenge the stigma around plastic surgery and made it clear she does what she wants when it comes to her own body. She said the results were worth it and doesn’t regret selling her house one bit.
