The “Kung Fu Panda 3” actress, who dropped her father’s name, was recently spotted catching up with her friends.
Shiloh Jolie’s latest outing didn’t go unnoticed, especially with her hairstyle channeling Angelina Jolie’s iconic “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” look. Fans couldn’t get over the mother-daughter resemblance, flooding social media with praise and astonishment.

The 18-year-old, who has often turned heads with her evolving style, drew even more attention with her latest look. Her long hair was styled in Dutch braids, echoing the iconic hairstyle her mom wore while playing Lara Croft in 2001’s “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.”

The casual moment had fans making quick comparisons between the teen and her Oscar-winning mother, especially with the duo’s shared chiseled features and striking bone structure.

Shiloh’s latest public appearance also came on the heels of a significant personal decision that made headlines last year. After turning 18 in May 2024, she filed to legally drop her father Brad Pitt’s last name, officially becoming Shiloh Jolie.

Court records confirmed that the request was approved without the need for a hearing, signaling a quiet but telling move in the ongoing family dynamics.

The timing of the change was notable. Shiloh filed the paperwork just three days after her milestone birthday, further highlighting the emotional weight behind the decision. Though she hasn’t spoken publicly about the shift, many interpreted it as a reflection of where she stands in the longstanding rift between her parents.

Since Angelina and Brad’s highly publicized split in 2016, their relationship, and Brad’s connection to their six children, has remained strained. Reports have long suggested that several of the kids have grown increasingly distant from their father, and 2024 saw more than one child subtly step away from the “Pitt” surname.

Zahara Jolie, adopted by Angelina in 2005 and later by Brad, appeared to make a similar statement during a Howard University sorority event in late 2024, where she was introduced without using her father’s last name.
Around the same time, Vivienne, one of Brad and Angelina’s twins, quietly used only her mother’s surname in the Playbill for Broadway’s “The Outsiders,” where she worked behind the scenes as a production assistant.

Despite these changes, Brad has not publicly addressed his children’s decisions to distance themselves from his name. But the message is resonating loud and clear in the public eye—at least three of the former couple’s kids seem to be firmly aligning themselves with their mother, both in name and in life.
