Westside Road Mudslide – Kelowna / West Kelowna
- A massive mudslide swept a vehicle into Okanagan Lake in early April.
- After nearly two weeks of exhaustive searches—using drones, K9 units, boats, and ROVs—the submerged truck and body of a 64‑year‑old man were located on April 12, and the body was recovered around April 23–24 .
- The recovery was conducted by the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team with support from Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR)
