The 32-year-old pop star has been openly dating music producer Benny Blanco since December 2023. She confirmed their romance through a series of Instagram comments, which came just a few months after she dropped her catchy single ‘Single Soon’.
Blanco, who is 37, co-produced that very track back in August 2023. Ever since then, the two have appeared head-over-heels for each other. At one point, the former Disney Channel star even replied to a fan saying that Blanco is “my absolute everything in my heart.”
But now, it seems fans are getting a little more insight into how they express their love. The ‘Hands to Myself’ singer recently uploaded a new Instagram carousel, captioned with the words “a few memories…”
Among the collection of pictures were adorable shots of the couple together. There was also one interesting group snap featuring Gomez, Blanco, and her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep—plus legendary director Steven Spielberg, who’s reportedly a huge fan of the series.
But one eagle-eyed follower decided to zoom in on the bottles lined up along the windowsill—and spotted something a bit NSFW: a bottle of KY Jelly. Yes, that kind. It’s personal lubricant.
The discovery made its way to TikTok, where a user uploaded a screen-recording of themselves zooming in on the photo Gomez had posted on Instagram.
The TikTok video quickly gained traction, racking up more than 2,000 comments. Many fans admitted they weren’t entirely sure what they were supposed to be noticing in the photo.
One confused user commented: “Wait what is it???”
The comments kept rolling in, and someone else chimed in with: “I’m too innocent cuz I don’t get it.”
But for those who did recognize the item, it was pretty clear what was going on.
“KY Jelly look right of the bottle with red top lol,” another added, pointing out the specific bottle sitting next to one with a red cap to help others spot it more easily.
And yet another person added this perspective: “God forbid she has a healthy intimate relationship with her fiancée.”
