Her unexpected death left fans and friends in shock after it was announced that she had died on June 17 at the age of 55.
Anne was a well-known face in the culinary world, best remembered for hosting hit shows like Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and Worst Cooks in America. Her television journey began back in 2005, and she quickly became a familiar and beloved personality.
“Her smile lit up every room she entered,” the touching message continued. “Anne’s light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.”
Anne is survived by her husband of four years, Stuart Claxton, along with her stepson Javier and her three children — Isabella, Amelia, and Nicolas — who are now mourning this tremendous loss.

In the immediate aftermath of her sudden death, reports emerged suggesting that her passing might have involved a potential drug overdose. That possibility was being looked into at the time.
According to PEOPLE, the medical examiner stated her death was due to “acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine.”

That sense of positivity was reflected in her final Instagram post. She shared a bright and joyful photo posing with a New York favorite — the local legend known as the Green Lady of Brooklyn.
Alongside the cheerful picture, she wrote: “I ran into @greenladyofbrooklyn in my neighborhood today!! I’m not going to lie- I have been keeping an eye out for her. I may or may not have followed her down the street for a minute. She is just lovely!!!”
