Many of us enjoy experimenting with new styles from time to time, whether it’s trying on a different outfit or picking a bold new hairdo.
For most people, a fresh outfit can usually satisfy that desire for change.
For Rosa, however, her hair was so long that she’d occasionally step on it while walking.
Over the years, her husband had suggested she cut it, but Rosa had been attached to the same style for an incredible 25 years.
Her decision to part with so much of it came with a meaningful purpose: she wanted to donate 4 feet of her hair to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair, often due to cancer treatment.
She visited the Papillon Blanc Hair and Lounge in Birmingham, Michigan, where she took the bold step of cutting off four feet of hair to make her donation.

Rosa was determined to ensure her hair was put to good use.
By donating it to Locks of Love, she knew it would become part of something special—a wig for a child experiencing hair loss.
The change was remarkable, and Rosa’s transformation was truly something to behold, leaving everyone in awe of her selfless act and stunning new look.
